Termed the 'Marvin Gaye of the 90s' by the press, Maxwell expertly interweaves modern beats and production with an old-school soulful emotion.

Quality Excitement with Sensational Maxwell
I concur with the other review 10 plus. Maxwell was fabulous and so exciting as always. I never miss a Maxwell concert. I have seen him from his beginnings which was my first encounter in Las Vegas. I have traveled to Pittsburgh several times and Georgia and I am never disappointed until the show ends and I want more, more,more!!! I have seen him so much until my brother tells me Maxwell should let me in free. I am one of his biggest fans because he is the most exciting entertainer out to me. I actually got moved up because the show was over sold. The (Aretha Franklin Amphitheater) is a nice summer venue and has so much relevance to the city of Detroit. I am a mother and this is a great family place with many restaurants nearby and it is close to downtown Detroit. ... Read more

If I could give this concert a 10 I would.
Maxwell never disappoint. He "sangs" dance, smile and just exhibit FUN to perfection as he is performing! Always easy on the eyes and well dressed ...And the awesome quality that is missing with a lot of people in this world is ever present in Max and that's "Humility" as he interacts with his audience.
I never miss his concerts in my hometown!!! He is my Fav' for sure!
